“The hives are gone! My energy level has increased.
My anxiety and stress level have decreased… I’m back to normal!”

I woke up one day with hives all over me. It was itchy, burning, and I couldn’t concentrate. I looked scary and I didn’t want to be seen. I was very irritable. When I first learned of the diagnosis I was nervous and freaked out. I’ve never had it before and was scared. I didn’t go out because I couldn’t wear certain fabrics. I didn’t want to break out in those areas because it would be seen. I took time off from work in the beginning because it was really bad. I couldn’t exercise and it was harder to sleep. This condition started at the end of December 2010 and continued on until the beginning of January 2011.

Modern medicine offered me nothing but “bad news bears”. Everything they gave me suppressed symptoms temporarily, and they didn’t know the problem. I was prescribed Prednisone (an immunosuppressant drug), Atarax, Benadryl and steroid creams. I was given injections of Epinephrine and Solumedrol. I also used Zyrtec when I had really bad breakouts. These medications made me really tired and drowsy but I wasn’t able to sleep. One of my friends had the same condition and she came to the Natural Medicine Center. I noticed she got better and thought I should try it. My family and I were skeptical, but they were very supportive of my decision. I didn’t have any views of natural medicine because I didn’t rule it as an option to treat anything.

I came to the Natural Medicine Center on January 17, 2011, I hoped to fully recover and have no concerns about a breakout at any point. My first impression of the clinic was warm and welcoming. It’s a comfortable place. I started getting treatments, which included herbs and acupuncture. At first I was nervous but then I began to get less breakouts. I began to gain more confidence that I would get better. I felt better and better from day to day and there were no side effects. The hives are gone! My energy level has increased. My anxiety and stress level have decreased. I feel like I’m back to normal and my quality of life is better. I’m back to normal!

The staff is sweet, accommodating and really welcoming. Maria and Jui-Lien are very sweet. I just want to hug them both at the same time. I am happy and really pleased with my results. I didn’t expect these results. My family and friends are really happy. I would refer anyone who has had a breakout with hives or anything else that Dr. Huang has treated. I am now more open-minded. If anyone is unsure or skeptical of natural medicine, I would share my experience and tell them it worked for me and you should give it a try!
