Since April 10, 2006, I suffered from vestibular neuritis due to a viral infection. I was devastated when I found out the diagnosis, and I had never heard of this condition before. I had dizziness and pressure in the ears because the virus had damaged the nerves in my inner ear. I was completed incapacitated and could not function normally. This condition affected me in every aspect. I could not go to the movies. I could not eat or drive because everything made me dizzy.
I went to the medical doctors and they treated me for the inner ear infection. They prescribed steroid medications, antibiotics and valium. The drugs gave me dry mouth, and the crackling and ringing in my ears remained. I still had severe dizziness that did not go away and it was depressing.
On August 15, 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center in hopes of getting better. I had faith that God would help me feel better. I was referred by a friend from church, and I heard about others and saw the results. I began getting acupuncture treatments and drinking herbal medicinal teas. The combination of both herbs and acupuncture really made a difference.
Day by day, I started getting better and was improving. The ringing slowly subsided and the sensitivity to sound was not as intense. The dizziness was getting better each day and I noticed more times throughout the day that I was not getting dizzy. I am now driving and shopping. I am going to restaurants and I am able to be out in the public. I noticed that my immune system is stronger because I have not been sick with the cold or flu this year. My periods are normal and I have also gained a little weight. I am thankful about the results and my family and friends are relieved and happy for me.
The staff is joyful, sweet and friendly, and the clinic is amazing, warm and peaceful. I have referred others to the Natural Medicine Center because it is worth a try. It is safer to use the natural way rather than modern medicine. Natural medicine treatments are more helpful in treating the source of the problem rather than covering it up. I have always believed in natural medicine and this is just a reinforcement of what God could do.
