MIGRAINE & HEADACHES
"Today I am migraine and headache free
and no longer take any medications including Aspirin."

I suffered from migraines for more than 15 years. For more than 7 of those years I would wake up every day with a headache and would have to take extra strength Excedrin. Despite taking the Excedrin every morning, many days I would still get a migraine. Over time my migraines became more frequent and more intense to the point where I was having 3 and 4 migraines a week every week. The doctors gave me various medications to prevent the migraines but they weren't very effective. On top of this I took powerful pain medications to treat them when they did come on. All of these mediations had unpleasant and sometimes debilitating side effects and I was very concerned about possible long-term side effects that might develop if I continued to use them. I felt like I had no life. I spent 3 or 4 days a week in bed with migraines and the other days trying to catch up on all the things that I didn't get done while I was down with the migraine. I never seemed to have enough time or energy to take care of my home and my family. The doctors offered me nothing but a lifetime of taking pills.

I have had family members who have received acupuncture with good results and I had been considering acupuncture for some time. Finally, in October of 2007, I decided it was time to try it. After praying and doing a little research the Lord led me to Natural Medicine Center. The doctor started me on acupuncture and herbs and had me make some modifications to my diet. Soon after I began feeling better and more energetic. Very gradually I began to see an improvement in my migraines. They became fewer and farther between and responded more readily to the medication. The doctor monitored my progress regularly and made changes in my treatment when necessary. Finally after a year and a half of treatment the migraines were gone. At this point I was still taking aspirin for my daily headaches so I continue treatment until I was able to stop taking aspirin as well. Today I am migraine and headache free and no longer take any medications including Aspirin. Although my healing took longer than most I am so glad I didn't give up. Praise God I am healed and have my life back.

The staff at Natural Medicine are all wonderful. I loved going in for my treatments. Everyone is friendly, kind and compassionate. Dr. Huang is very encouraging and knowing he is a man of God who prays for his patients kept me going at times when I wanted to give up. I can't thank them enough and would recommend to anyone.
